My current favorite is a maple latte. Here's how:
- brew a small cup of espresso or strong coffee
- while this is going on, pour some milk (or substitute - I use coconut milk) into a glass (or mug) and froth it.
- microwave the milk until it is hot and the foam has risen.
- add a teaspoon (or more, if you feel decadent) of maple syrup to your strong coffee.
- holding the foam aside and carefully pour the coffee/syrup mixture into the milk.
